Felony Adult Drug Court

The Warren Drug Court is a Felony Adult Drug Court (A.S.A.P.) and was established in October of 1999. To date, we have taken 375 participants into our program. We have graduated 160 participants and our retention rate remains at 72%. We also have a track #2 program for probationers who don’t meet criteria to get into drug court. They are monitored more closely than being in standard probation. Our offices are open until 9:00 P.M. two nights per week, which allows us to hold a night court, 12-step meetings, nutrition and money management classes, and extended hours for case management sessions. We have obtained a 501c(3), which has enabled us to hold fund raisers. Because of the extra money we have brought in, we are able to plan month social activities for the participants and their families, as well as alumni meetings and a monthly craft night for our females and their daughters. Our staff consists of the judge, the coordinator and case manager (full-time), a part time caseworker and two part time clerical employees.
