23rd District Drug Court Program


The 23rd
District Court Drug Court, located in Taylor, Michigan, targets high-risk, substance abusing (alcohol and/or drugs), repeat offenders.  Program length is 24 months consisting of three graduated phases participants move through based on compliance, clean time, and individual progress.  Program capacity is between 35-40 defendants.  We have one drug court judge, a full-time drug court clerk, and a full-time drug court coordinator/probation officer. Team members also include public defenders, prosecutors, therapists, police officer, and program evaluator.  Basic requirements for graduation are being clean, employed, receiving high school diploma or equivalent, and valid driver’s license.  Our ultimate goal is to give participants a foundation upon which to build a life that benefits themselves, their family, and the community.
